Our Legacy of Giving
Swann’s Furniture & Design has a long-standing history of philanthropy. Since our founding in 1895, we have consistently supported causes that reflect our values of integrity, compassion, and community development.
Camp Audubon: In the early 1900s, T.E. and Carrie Swann sponsored young men to attend Camp Audubon in Estes Park, Colorado, sending 93 boys to explore the outdoors and build leadership skills.
Student Loan Fund for Women: Swann's established a student loan fund for women, helping countless young women pursue higher education and professional careers.
Marvin United Methodist Church: We also contributed to the development of local communities by donating land to the church for a hall, furthering the connection between faith and community.
Supporting Global Causes
Our legacy of supporting local communities continues into the present day, and we also support international initiatives aimed at improving lives worldwide.
- Sight.org: Founded by our own Lewis Swann, Sight.org is a Christian charity focused on restoring sight to those in need. We provide free cataract surgeries and education on modern farming practices in Togo, West Africa.
- Local Charities: We proudly contribute to causes in our hometown, participating in events such as the Cattle Baron's Gala, Tyler Heart Ball, and Mistletoe & Magic, helping fund medical research and support local initiatives.
